The First Step to controlling any potentially explosive situation is verbal control.
Participants will develop the skills necessary for a verbal "directive" intervention. In this easy to follow 7-step process, participants will learn to:
- Develop a non-confrontational approach while remaining in control of the situation.
- Stop the aggressive escalation process before it reaches the release stage.
- Guide the aggressor to acceptable, non-violent conslusions to the situation.
This approach not only protects both parties, but also offers a safe, controlled environment for surrounding bystanders.
What our participants are saying:
“The instructor was very knowledgeable and took the time to evaluate each group during each exercise.”
